Ping & Uptime Test

Is a website or server up right now? We connect to it from our server and measure how fast it answers on HTTPS, HTTP and SSH.

Why a TCP ping?

Many servers and cloud firewalls block classic ICMP ping, so a “ping failed” result is often misleading. Measuring the time to open a connection on the ports the site actually uses is more reliable.

Reading the numbers

Times are from our server’s location to yours. Under 50 ms is very close; 100–250 ms is normal across continents. High numbers alone don’t mean a problem; a timeout does.

Frequently asked questions

A firewall may block our server, or the problem may be regional. Try again, and check from your phone on mobile data too.

That’s normal and good: SSH is often restricted to known IPs.

Call our 24/7 line or open the chat. A server-down emergency is escalated as P1.
